The Executive Committee implements the decisions of the Senate. It is responsible for planning, managing and supervising the activities of the SAMS, and draws up and approves position statements and roadmaps. The members of the Executive Committee meet at least four times a year, and as often as business requires.
The Board of Directors currently comprises 12 members, including the President, two Vice-Presidents, the Treasurer, the President of the Central Ethics Commission (CCE), the President of the Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN) and the President of the FMH. Members of the Executive Committee are elected for a four-year term; a single re-election in the same function is permitted. The members of the Executive Committee have declared their interests (as of June 30, 2024).
